Hari TASKA 2015

(Event : Hari Taska 2015 @ Sunday 16th August 2015)

The Association of Registered Childcare Providers Sarawak (Persatuan Pengasuh Kanak- Kanak Berdaftar Sarawak) will be organizing a fund raising event as part of their annual “HARI TASKA” celebration on Sunday, the 16th August 2015 from 11am to 5pm at Boulevard Shopping Mall, Kuching. This year’s theme is “Ensuring R.E.S.P.E.C.T. for our children”. This theme is to ensure that the Rights of the Child care protected through the provision of safe environment, safety, play, equality, culture and total development. The 2015 theme will focus on Environment.

Also in conjunction of the said Hari Taska, members of the Association will open their centres respectively to the public on Saturday, the 8th August 2015. All interested are cordially welcome to any of the TASKA bearing the banner of “HARI TASKA OPEN DAY”.

The main objectives of Hari Taska celebration are : (1) to heighten the public awareness on the role of registered TASKAs; (2) to inform the public of the quality childcare services available in their neighbourhood; (3) to promote the importance of early

childhood care and education through the safety & Go green ~Love Environment; and (4) to promote unity among all TASKA personnel and the parents through collaborative projects.

This year’s Hari TASKA celebration will be officially launched by YB Datuk Hajah Fatimah Abdullah, Ministry of Welfare, Women and Family Development. There will games and food stalls as well as performance by the children. Proceeds will go to charitable bodies such as Wishesland (Association for children with celebral palsy); Dyslexia Association of Sarawak; Home of Peach Kuching and The Green Ribbon Association Kuchiing, to assists these special needs children to have a fair opportunity to Early Childhood Care and Education as well as to promote the main objectives of the Association in upgrading the standards of childcare services in TASKA through courses, seminars and workshops for TASKA personnel, parents, and anyone interested in educating and caring for young children.

This event is open to the general public to participate in the food sales and to bring their children to play at our game stalls. There will also be child related information where parents can obtain from various information booths and the children’s ECO fashion show competition for all participating TASKA’s children.
